Sungai Lembing is an industrial town that has strong heritage asset and a destination that has successfully attracted visitor. However, there is lack of comprehensive planning and program for development and maintenance of its historical heritage properties which included the tangible and intangible elements.

In sustaining the heritage assets and revitalizing the town, there is a need to strengthen the identity of Sungai Lembing where it reflects the originality and simplicity of the town. To do that, place based tourism is implemented, local community need to be empowered socially and

economically to care and owned the place.

With a comprehensive planning and integrated approach balancing historic preservation, modern reinvestment, and community revitalization, the plan seeks to reconnect people and places ,enriching the lives of Sungai Lembing residents and to maximize the potential of this area as a premier place to live and travel destination for visitors.

The proposed architecture act as a catalyst, providing a platform for interaction, experiencing, learning and activities that services to both local residents and travelers. Encourage closer social interaction and better understanding of the town history and culture to create a strong sense of community and enhance social sustainability.

Aside from that , it also act as a connector to solve the issue of dis-connectivity between the hotspots of the town. The proposed architecture is to become the core that connect people, places and experience.
